Denver City Tour with Red Rocks.
Denver has so much to offer. It is the state Capitol and Colorado is called the Centennial State as it became a state exactly 100 years after the birth of the United States. During this tour you will explore old Denver and you will hear about how and why Denver became established. Of course it was Gold fever that brought people here and we will visit the site where gold was first discovered as well as where the old cowboys and Native Indians lived.

Denver and Mountain views from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science
Denver is both an old cowboy town and a very modern city now with seven major professional sports teams. On our tour we will visit old historical Denver as well as the newer part of Denver. Lower downtown (LoDo as we locals call it) and the RiNo Park area have many newer stone buildings built in the style of the buildings that existed in the late 19th century when Denver was just coming into its own. The LoDo and Larimer Square area, and The RiNo area are very artistic neighborhoods with small boutique stores, eateries, Beer Pubs and Winery with outdoor art displays on the murals of the businesses and the alleys. Traveling through Lodo you will hear stories of cowboys and gun fights as well as the underbelly stories of miners, saloon girls and crooked politicians. Colorado history is rich with the heritage of many Native Indian tribes, Spanish and French explorers and of course the US citizens who arrived from the East and settled the area. The Denver, Red Rocks with Lookout Mountain tour typically last about 3-4 hours but can be extended
